Factur-X validator: PDF, XML and profiles

Extract XML locally, detect its profile, then check fixed XSD and Schematron rules with consent.

PDF extraction runs locally in your browser. Only XML is sent to XSDHub after consent. Invoices are not retained. Temporary files are deleted after processing or timeout; invoice contents are not logged. Privacy policy.

Profiles and layers

The profile is read from GuidelineSpecifiedDocumentContextParameter. Its Factur-X 1.09.2 XSD and Schematron run first. EN16931 also runs European CII rules 1.3.16. BASIC and EXTENDED use their own EN-derived profile rules, without a separate full EN16931 pass. MINIMUM and BASIC WL do not provide EN16931-conformant invoices, even if their profile checks pass.

PDF/A-3, visual rendering, PDF/XML agreement and signatures are not validated. French BR-FR and EXTENDED-CTC-FR rules are not run because their licence wording is unresolved. PPF directory status and acceptance by a plateforme agréée are not checked. A positive result covers only the displayed checks; it is not certification.

Limits and access

10 MB per PDF and extracted XML; 15 seconds for local extraction. Two concurrent server workers, 20 seconds per server check and up to 100 messages. Existing limits apply: anonymous access 10/minute/IP, the same API keys and Pro/Team quotas, with no new pricing. Batches: 25 files with Pro, 100 with Team.

Engine diagnostics retain their original language.
