Read each layer separately
- XML: bounded syntax check with the existing local engine; DTDs and entities blocked.
- XSD: not executed without your authorised schema. Supplied artifacts are checked as provided; official identity is not certified.
- Business: IBAN, counts and exact control sums per group/block, positive EUR, DD/SEPA/SLEV, mandate ID and signature/collection dates, sequence type and selected CORE/B2B consistency.
- Creditor identifier: general shape; national shape and MOD97 for DE, FR, HR, PL and RO, excluding the business code. National fiscal-ID checksums and issuance are unchecked. Other CI countries show a scope warning.
- Plausibility: dates versus your reference day, repeated identifiers and matching collections within this message or across chosen batch files. A repeated mandate alone is not treated as an error.
No proof of a real mandate, authorisation, bank registration, working day, cutoff or acceptance. CORE/B2B labels do not establish debtor eligibility or mandate history. Unknown profiles never receive a complete green result.

Independently authored fictional demos, not submission templates. At reference date 2026-11-06 the valid examples pass these lite rules. Official XSD validity remains unverified. Missing MsgId is demonstrated against our own test-only subset, never presented as ISO.

Start with pain.008.001.08 and explicitly select CORE or B2B. Choose .02 only for a known legacy bank requirement. The latest ISO catalogue .12 does not automatically change your bank profile. EPC rulebook 2025 v1.2 is effective 30 September 2026; unstructured addresses remain supported beyond the old November deadline. No automatic address rejection is applied.
ISO repository use/reproduction is addressed by ISO IPR / ISO terms. XSDHub is independent; ISO is the sole official source of current ISO materials. No ISO/EPC/bank XSD, TVS, protected code list or Schematron is bundled.
